שַׁעֲוָהf. (שעי = שוּעַ) wax. Sabb.II, 1 ולא בש׳ nor must you use wax in place of oil for the Sabbath light, v. קִירוּתָא. Gen. R. s. 44 היה לבו רפה כש׳, v. שוּעַ I.
